I love this product. It's very compact to leave of the your desk and it looks very modern and sleek. It's not as compact to travel because the cable is long (which is great) and it adds up to the space taking in the bag. Even the cube is not as small as one may think. But I love that the design is compact and because it's a cube you won't face the issue of a bigger transformer sitting over the outlet next to it. It has also USB ports which is very convenient.Hi! You're probably wondering why I'm reviewing this now if I've had since 2019. Well simply put I finally had to get something with a USB-C charger and I was thinking about how great this cube is. Seriously, this cube is amazing. It's so useful. Get it. Don't wonder if you need it. Get the cube. You will like the cube. You have 3 regular power slots and 3 usb slots. It's so useful. I also only have to bring one charger thing with me on vacation. I use this at home too. Get the cubeBought one about a month ago and I just bought another. Having 3 normal plugs and 3 USB plugs is wonderful. This is an update to extension cords that has been needed for years. I haven't pushed it to its max yet, but three things plugged in at once does great. The USB switch is nice too. I haven't had the need for it yet, but I can see using it as a power switch to turn off the items plugged into the USB ports might be useful, especially on a trip. The only additional feature that I might suggest for a future model is having the option of built in surge protection. So far this is a great product and I will likely be buying even more in the future.I find this cord useful enough that it finds a space in my carry-on. (And I never check a bag; I travel light.) It charges phone & Kindle quickly and is great for my electric tea kettle as well when I travel by car. Just remember that usb ports require pressing the button to turn on.I buy Anker products almost exclusively. I have thrown so many other chargers and cords in the trash, but Anker products I bought 7-8 years ago are still going strong. This power cube is no exception. It has a nice weight/heft to it which indicates quality, the power outlets are spaced apart so you can plug in any bulky chargers you might have, the USB ports are VERY powerful, and it winds up into a fairly compact package. As you can see in the photos I use it for work. I travel around to several places in my home state and work as a contractor. So it's common for me to need to plug in several things at once. This is perfect for that. It would also be ideal for general travel. It's worth noting that the USB ports are awesome. It charged up my dead flashlight in about 20 minutes while I was at lunch and allowed me to use it for the rest of the afternoon. And it charged my phone from 10% battery to over 50% in about 15 minutes. This is so valuable as someone who is constantly on the move and wears down batteries quickly. My only "complaint" is that I wish it had the option for a longer cord. This one is only 5ft, which isn't bad, but I do also carry a 25' extension cord because I don't always have an outlet that close to where I'm working. That's only a minor inconvenience, though. I'm not taking off any stars for it. I think the 5ft length meets the general need for this device. In a general travel setting you dont need 15' or 25' of cord. I absolutely love this power cube. I bought a second one for vacations and have talked 2 other coworkers into buying one. And at about $20 the price is amazing. With the quality of the Anker name behind it you can't go wrong. This has very charging port and plug you need. Give you multiple options, is small enough to be portable or stationary at home. I keep it beside my bed and use it frequently. It charges quickly.I prefer Anker products because they are usually solid. I purchased this product January 13, 2021. I first noticed it did not want to power my Apple manufactured magnetic Apple Watch charger when it was new but it powered up everything else I tried. I plugged an older Anker charger into an ac outlet on the side and that still powers the watch charger. Today this product stopped working on my Anker Powercore 20100. Other Anker chargers still charge the Powercore. I started trying other devices including a Kindle, an iPad mini, etc. on each of the three USB plugs of this product. Longer story short this product is intermittent. Now I know why some mornings my iPhone wasn’t charged. I am disappointed it has not lasted longer. I have many Anker products which are many years old that are still working. I suspect the circuitry that manages the power is failing. I hope the problem is only on my particular power strip and it is not a design flaw. But now I can only trust it as an extension cord and not a USB charger.I have a larger multi-socket, multi-port surge protector, but its cord is short and it is huge, It charged fine when I first purchased it, but its charging capability seemed to have slowed considerably. Some of its ports did not work well. I purchased this item because it would reduce the number of chargers I had to stick into sockets and so I could get rid of the bulky charging station. I was able to plug this product into a wall socket and run the cord behind a large dresser in my bedroom. I have placed the charging end of this product around a bedpost so that it hangs down a few inches over the headboard. It’s so small, it doesn’t get in the way. The cord was plenty long and I have less cord and charger mess in the bedroom. If you suffer from tinnitus, or have really sensitive hearing, this USB charging powerbank is for you! I've tried several USB style banks and most emit a really high-pitched electrical supersonic "SKWEEEEEE" that is more noxious than a bloodthirsty, northwestern Ontario mosquito hoard. This powerbank, however, does not. I now have three that I use religiously. I'm addicted. I need MOAR.With this all I need to find is one plug and I can power all 6 of my devices..Comes with 3 outlets and 3 USB A ports. With this power cube I can recharge my laptop, use two charge bricks to fast charge my work and personal iPhones at 18W each, and use the 3 USB ports to connect my headphones, watch and power bank battery. Perfect for those times when you are on the road and need to set up a workspace like in an airport on a layover, board room for a marathon meeting or hotel room at the end of the day.Comes with a sticker so you can mount it on the underside of a desk, I stuck it to a magnet so I can stick it to a wall to keep it up and out of the way.I have come to ❤️ Anker products…. and no, I haven’t received any of their products for free or to review :)Here you have a compact cube on a 5ft odd wire (3 power ports) with some surge protection…… and (I wll test it tonight) with one small blue light which emits light IF you wish to use the USB ports (3 of them) overnight. A small round power button at those ports will nullify that “light pollution” (and power to the USB ports) if you so wish.I would say it’s a 75% improvement on the bulky, heavy light emitting power extenders we used before this, bedside. If you like minimalistic light products for a better night’s rest, these should work ?. However, Inam also adding a “light dim sticker” on the button (which will remain functional) as to make it a zero light emission power hub. This little power cube works perfectly for my purposes with a couple of power plugs to spare. I only need to plug in my laptop and occasionally another device, so three plugs are more than enough. I do have three USB devices, and this thing has enough power to do all three at the same time. I have one USB device that needs 2.4 amps which is working perfectly along with the other two devices plugged in. The switch on top to turn off the USB ports work well.It doesn't have an on/off switch for the main power which some people might find inconvenient if you aren't using it for travel. Mine is installed permanently because I just wanted the small form factor compared to my other power strip. I just plugged it into a TP-Link smart plug and now my Google Home turns it off and on as needed. Really pleased with this so far, but I can't comment on long term use yet, since I just got it today.I love it. Slightly larger than I was expecting but it's good. I always need USB chargers and AC power at work site. This works great at home too. I really like the idea that I can turn off the USB ports as I want to avoid keep powering the devices continuously. I had hard time to decide in between this one and new version (ASIN B083XRJXSD) but I am happy with my decision.
